We are offering Boundaries to those who feel :

• Totally out of control all of the time
• They are being taken advantage of
• Overwhelmed
• Pulled in all different directions
• Never seem to be able to say “No”

If this describes you, come and join us! Attendees will learn how to understand who they are and who they are not.
Boundaries impact all areas of our lives:

• Physical Boundaries help us determine who may touch us and under what circumstances.
• Mental Boundaries give us the freedom to have our own thoughts and opinions.
• Emotional Boundaries help us deal with our own emotions and disengage from the harmful, manipulative emotions of others.
• Spiritual Boundaries help us to distinguish God’s will from our own and give us renewed awe for our Creator.

Often Christians focus so much on being loving and unselfish that they forget their own limits and limitations. When confronted with their lack of boundaries they ask:

• Can I set limits and still be a loving person?
• What are legitimate boundaries?
• What if someone is upset or hurt by my boundaries?
• How do I answer someone who wants my time, love, energy, or money?
• Aren’t boundaries selfish?
• Why do I feel guilty or afraid when I consider setting boundaries?

The answers to those questions and others will be answered during the course of the seminar.
The church will be offering the nine-week Boundaries Support Group on a rotating basis here at the church. There is a cost for the workbook and associated text for each of the seminars. There is no cost for the actual seminar. There are a limited number of scholarships available for those who want to attend and cannot afford it. Call the minister for more information.

Based on the book by Dr. Henry Cloud, this group seminar will focus on the individual’s ability to set up healthy boundaries in thier inter-personal relationships. This seminar is a closed group, meaning that participation will be closed after the second session. Participants will have to sign a confidentiallity agreement.

There is no fee for the seminar. The participant will have to have the book, as well as the seminar workbook. If you already have the book, bring it with you. Books and workbooks are available at the seminar and you can reimburse the church when you attend.
